William and Susan Bloomfield campaign spending

Bill and Susan Bloom­field of Man­hat­tan Beach spent about $5.85 mil­lion to help shape the out­comes of the 2014 elec­tions in Cali­for­nia. The li­on’s share of their spend­ing went to­ward ef­forts to elect Mar­shall Tuck as state su­per­in­tend­ent of pub­lic in­struc­tion (he lost) and Ben Al­len to the state Sen­ate (he won).
